Founded in 1915, the NEPC runs the oldest poetry reading series in the country. We invite you to join us! You may also choose to pay dues greater than $25.

We offer a writing workshop open to all members, and sponsor awards and contests to recognize poetic achievement. NEW ENGLAND POETRY CLUB was founded in 1915 by Amy Lowell, Robert Frost & Conrad Aiken. The Club sponsors the oldest poetry reading series in the country. Members of the NEPC benefit from being part of a community of poets, gathering for readings by members with new books, participating in monthly writing workshops, posting publication news on the NEPC website, and submitting without charge to NEPC contests. Annual dues, payable in April: $25

If this amount presents a hardship for you, we invite you to pay what you can. Members are strongly encouraged to renew membership within the month of April. NEPC Member Harris Gardner wants to share this upcoming poetry event! A Hastings Room Reading: Autumn Is Poetry. Join Harris Gardner, Gloria Mindock, and Doug Holder for a wonderful evening of poetry and camaraderie at First Church in Cambridge!

The evening will feature readings from all three poets, with introductions by Mary Buchinger.

On a refreshing Sunday afternoon, at the Menino Arts Center in Boston's Hyde Park neighborhood, we had the great pleasure of hearing from (L to R) Mid Walsh, Susan Eisenberg, and Mark Pawlak. Not to mention our open mic poets! Thanks to everyone who came today to listen and participate.

NEPC member Diana Cole wants you to know that Art in the Atrium at First U is seeking 15 poems and 15 works of art for its upcoming exhibition, Thresholds, exploring those moments when something begins, changes, or gives way to the unknown.
