Spay It Forward Spay It Forward a new 501c3 organization established to support spay/neuter for low income pet owners and disadvantaged animals in Cabarrus County Area.

The furry citizens in our community need your help. And you can be an instant solution. SPAY IT FORWARD, INC. is a newly created 501 (c) 3 organization whose mission is to alleviate the population of unwanted companion animals by providing funds for the spay and neuter of pets of low income families and for pets otherwise neglected, including feral cats. Sponsor a dog or cat spay or neuter for $10

0.00! It can be in the form of a memorial or honorarium gift or simply a donation. All funds will be applied for animals in need. For every spay or neuter performed, a female dog is spared giving birth to a conservative average of 16 puppies in a year’s time and a female cat is spared 41 kittens, thus preventing these babies from having babies and so on. In 2012 Cabarrus Animal Control received 2,270 unwanted dogs and puppies of which 917 had to be euthanized due to aggression, sickness or simply because there was no place for them. Of the 2,064 cats received 1,138 were euthanized. Rescue groups were able to rescue an estimated number of 1,500 dogs and cats, thus avoiding Animal Control all together. One can’t begin to calculate the number of those that suffer from hunger, sickness, injuries, homelessness and neglect. Animal Control and rescue groups are fighting a losing battle unless our community addresses this issue at its origin-neglect and the inability of some families to afford to alter their pets. At present there are no funds available other than those raised from our community. Together we can break the cycle and end the heartache of this inhumanity. Look at this sweet girl. She's one of the ten that Kristi picked up to keep from being euthanized. I can't even imagine that happening. She sent me a picture of the kitties when she left the vet. I couldn't resist this baby. Hers is sweet as can be. I will post her name soon. Landree has sent me her name suggestions, and she is good at naming kitties. 😅❤️💞

Today, we bear heavy hearts as we share the news of the passing of our beloved founder, Robert B. Tucker. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Tucker family and our extended SHOE SHOW, INC. family during this time of loss.

In 1960, a young man embarked on a journey with a dream to establish his own shoe store in the charming town of Kannapolis, NC. Little did he know that this dream would evolve into an extraordinary legacy. Fast forward 63 years, and with an unwavering commitment to quality products, exceptional service, and unbeatable value, SHOE SHOW, INC. has grown to over 1000+ stores, spanning across 47 states.

As we reflect on the incredible journey that Bob Tucker initiated, we are reminded of the values and dedication that have defined our company. We honor his memory by continuing to provide the best in footwear and service to our customers.
To God be the Glory! The indomitable spirit of Robert B. Tucker lives on in every step we take at SHOE SHOW, INC.
In lieu of flowers, the Tucker family kindly requests that memorials be directed to the Tucker Heart, Soul, Mind, and Strength Foundation, PO Box 648, Concord, NC 28026. In honoring Bob Tucker's memory, may we all strive to continue the legacy of faith, fortitude, and generosity that defined his remarkable life.

Services will be held at North Kannapolis Baptist Church, 312 Locust Street, Kannapolis, NC 28081 on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at 2:00 p.m.
