The July issue of NH Bar News shares the story of a new partnership between the New Hampshire Campaign for Legal Services and the Souhegan High School Law & Justice Club, where students are putting their commitment to justice into action by supporting civil legal aid in New Hampshire.

The student club leaders, Lucas Steckbeck and Violet Quesnel, discuss what inspired the club's new philanthropic initiative and the creative fundraisers they've organized to help ensure more Granite Staters can access the civil legal services they need.

"These students represent the exact kind of civic engagement we would want to see," said our Campaign Director, Rachel DeMaster.

Thank you to Orr & Reno for hosting the 2nd Annual Law Firm Charity Kickball Tournament in support of 603 Legal Aid!

We were grateful to see members of New Hampshire’s legal and business communities come together for an afternoon of connection and competition in support of our work. Events like this help expand our ability to provide free civil legal assistance to people across the state facing urgent issues related to housing, family stability, consumer debt, and more.

We appreciate everyone who came out to play, cheer, volunteer, and help make this year’s tournament a success. Congratulations to Mainstay Technologies for winning the championship, and to Upton & Hatfield, LLP for earning the title of best dressed!
