The highly anticipated air show is scheduled for May 9-10, 2026. This year’s show will commemorate America’s 250th birthday, with the U.S. Navy Blue Angels as the headliner featuring an electrifying lineup of aerial performances, ground demonstrations, and static displays. The show will kick off with a patriotic parade celebrating the nation’s history, showcasing historical uniforms, flags, and music.

2026 CHARLESTON AIRSHOW UPDATE!
After careful consideration, Joint Base Charleston has made the decision to transition the 2026 Charleston Airshow to a one-day off-base event. This change is a necessary result of increased operational requirements due to current global events.
On Saturday, May 2nd, Joint Base Charleston is proud to partner with the cities of Charleston and Mount Pleasant to host a one-day Harbor-Front Airshow.
This display of aviation excellence will take place over the Charleston Harbor, South of the Cooper River Bridge between downtown Charleston and Mount Pleasant and will feature the Blue Angels and other aerial performers.
Joint Base Charleston will share more information on this unique event as it becomes available. In the meantime, keep an eye on the Joint Base Charleston page for updates.
For those that purchased premium seating tickets for the original airshow format, please know that you will be receiving a refund. You can expect outreach from our team in the coming weeks.

Now just two weeks away! The Charleston Airshow has been moved to the Charleston Harbor and will now be only one day, May 2nd. This should providing many incredible viewing observation sites around Charleston!

The Wings Over Carolina Beach Air Show is taking flight the weekend of April 24 & 25! ✈️🌊

ILM is proud to serve as a presenting sponsor for this exciting community event celebrating aviation and honoring our military history.

🕑 The airshow kicks off Friday at 3:00 PM and Saturday at 2:00 PM
🎟️ FREE admission

Come early and catch great performances before the airshow begins! Enjoy live music throughout the day at Sunny Daze Smokehouse, Hurricane Alley's CB (private event on Saturday), and Silver Dollar / Top Dollar starting at 12:00 PM on Friday and 11:30 AM on Saturday.
