New Hampshire Animal Rights League The mission of NHARL is to work for the fair treatment of all animals in New Hampshire and beyond. We support like-minded organizations. Stay in touch.

We investigate issues brought to our attention, promote a vegan cruelty-free lifestyle, grant funds to help pay for nonlethal beaver management, and distribute free No Hunting signs to landowners. WHAT YOU CAN DO:

Strive to live a compassionate cruelty-free lifestyle. For example: go vegan, coexist with wildlife, avoid places like zoos and circuses where animals are enslaved, and don’t wear fur,

leather, wool, silk, or any products made from animals. Write letters to the editor and comment whenever you learn of an injustice to animals. Support animal-friendly legislation. Join us at protests and other events. Volunteer your time and skills. We are always in need of new voices to speak for animals with our protests, tabling, leafleting, etc. Visit our page and website. Ask to be put on our email list to learn about actions and events. Become a member of NHARL.

Please join local Animal Rights supporters on Sunday, August 30 starting at noon for a protest against the cruel bear circus at Clark’s Bears in Lincoln, NH.
In the wild, black bears can roam across hundreds of square miles, forage for a wide variety of foods, climb, explore, and engage in complex natural behaviors. At Clark’s, bears are instead forced to perform uncomfortable tricks—including balancing on balls, riding bicycles, and other behaviors that are completely unnatural for them.

Bears deserve better than being used as entertainment. They deserve to live as bears.

It’s that time of year — time for our annual summer outing! Join us on picturesque Four Tree Island in Portsmouth for a vegan potluck cookout.
FOOD & DRINK
NHARL will be providing vegan burgers, hot dogs, drinks, and some desserts. All vegan, of course!
We ask that you bring your favorite vegan dish to share with the group. Please add a comment to the sign-up section indicating which dish you will bring. Please also include the number of people in your party. (Example: two adults and two children)
