SNOB Film Festival

Hello friend! Today would have been opening night of the 2020 SNOB Film Festival. Filmmaker, film fans, friends, and extended family all gathering together to kick off the festival while enjoying some delicious local NH made beer and engaging in some great conversations. However, 2020 turned out much different for us. We love the event and what the SNOB Film Festival has become, and we did not think what was created in Downtown Concord could be replicated in a virtual environment. Therefore, we have sadly CANCELED this year’s event and begun thinking of next year’s festival. We will miss all of you this year. Stay safe everyone. Hope to see you in 2021 to Celebrate SNOB FF’s 20th year!

Considering the Covid-19 activity in the world and the social distancing that is recommend, it is encouraging to see that many theaters and events have taken these world events very seriously. Such as Coolidge Corner Theatre in Boston and most of Massachusetts theaters temporarily shutting down and theaters like our friends at the Wilton Town Hall Theatre temporarily doing the same as a precaution. One of the major events that canceled a few weeks ago was SXSW. Here is an interesting article about the ripple effect of this on the whole industry. Note: we have shown many great films that debut at SXSW over the years at SNOB FF.

Filmmakers, sales agents, and publicists expressed confusion about how to alter their strategies in the wake of the festival's cancellation.
