Hello again, volunteers and friends of DropOff/SwapOff,
The October 4 DropOff & SwapOff Day is now less than a month away! Many thanks to all those who have already volunteered. (If you said, "Put me anywhere", we'll be in touch soon!) There are still many volunteer openings left to fill across all parts of the event.
At the DropOff, we are particularly interested in finding Team Leaders for several areas, including Electronics, Oversize Waste, and Styrofoam area, and afternoon in Small Stuff. There are plenty of regular volunteer openings throughout the day, too. All shifts, almost all areas. Cleanup at the end. Every spot is important!
Similarly for SwapOff, there are opening in all areas, throughout the day. More unloaders in the morning. Lots more people to help organize the different categories of items collected in the morning (and keep them organized during the afternoon). Clean-up starting starting at 2:30. We also need more help with the Early Swap, 12-3pm on Friday (the day before the main event, weather permitting).
All volunteers can sign-up on-line at https://www.ReUsIt.org. Follow the "Sign Up" link and then choose "DropOff" or "SwapOff" to reach the appropriate part of the event. The schedules there show which areas and times have the greatest need for additional volunteers. The Friday Early Swap is under "SwapOff". If you run into any problems or have questions, you can always sign up for either SwapOff or DropOff by replying to this email, indicating when and where you wish to volunteer.
You can all help out tremendously by forwarding this to someone who may not have volunteered before and urging them to join in the fun. You are our best volunteer recruiting resource!
