We are excited to share the vision and program roadmap for The Front Porch Community Partnership.

Our mission is to build stronger communities through unity, service, culture, education, business support, and connection. We believe real community change happens when families, seniors, youth, local businesses, churches, volunteers, and community leaders come together with one shared purpose.

Our core program vision includes:

🏡 Front Porch Youth Leadership Academy
Empowering youth ages 12–18 through leadership, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, public speaking, civic engagement, volunteerism, and exposure to career and trade opportunities.

👵🏾 Senior Neighbor Program
Supporting seniors through check-in calls, friendly visits, technology help, yard assistance, grocery support, transportation resources, and community care.

🥦 Community Food Network
Helping address food access through community gardens, produce giveaways, healthy cooking education, and food distribution partnerships.

💼 Small Business Success Program
Helping local businesses grow through workshops, marketing education, website support, AI training, networking opportunities, and community exposure.

👨‍👩‍👧 Single Parent Support Network
Creating support for parents through workshops, school supply drives, holiday support, emergency referrals, and community resources.

🛠️ Workforce & Trade Skills Program
Connecting residents with information and pathways toward CDL training, electrical work, HVAC, plumbing, welding, entrepreneurship, and other high-demand opportunities.

🎉 Community Unity Events
Bringing people together through events such as Juneteenth, Beats & BBQ, fall festivals, vendor markets, cultural celebrations, and family-centered community gatherings.

🚨 Emergency Family Assistance Fund
Working toward creating a local support fund for families facing urgent needs such as utility shutoffs, transportation challenges, temporary housing needs, and other emergencies.

For Year One, our focus will be on building trust, serving people well, and launching strong foundation programs:

But we cannot build this alone.

🌟 BIG ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE COMMUNITY 🌟

The Front Porch Community Partnership is officially moving forward as a real nonprofit organization! 🙌🏾

We have received our official Employer Identification Number (EIN) from the IRS, which is a major step in building a legitimate, organized, and accountable nonprofit dedicated to serving our community.

Our mission is simple but powerful:

To bring people together, support families, uplift local businesses, create meaningful community events, provide educational opportunities, strengthen neighborhoods, and build partnerships that help our community grow.

We are still in the early stages, and we are working toward completing the next steps, including our full 501(c)(3) tax-exempt application process. But we are not waiting to serve. We are building now.

To grow, we need:

✅ Community volunteers
✅ Local businesses willing to partner
✅ Sponsors for events and programs
✅ Donors who believe in the mission
✅ Vendors for community events
✅ Board and committee members with integrity

Partnership ☀️

Some of our best memories were made with a water hose, a plastic pool, a few rubber duckies, and a whole lot of laughter.

In a world that seems to move faster every day, it’s important to remember that the values we teach our children today will shape the communities of tomorrow.

At The Front Porch Community Partnership, we believe that raising children isn’t just about providing for them—it’s about teaching them to love deeply, respect others, show kindness freely, and stand firm in their character.

We’re reminiscing about a time when:
Kids were just kids, enjoying the simple innocence of childhood.

Sunday mornings meant gathering with our neighbors at church.
Safety meant knowing you could grab a quick drink from the water hose and head right back to your game.
We didn’t have to worry about the dangers lurking around every corner, and God’s presence was the steady foundation of our daily lives.

Pike County, we’re excited to officially introduce Front Porch Community Partnership ❤️

We are a new nonprofit organization built on a simple belief… real change starts with neighbors coming together like family on the front porch.

Our mission is to help strengthen our community through outreach, unity, resources, mentorship, youth engagement, community events, and partnerships that bring people together instead of dividing them. We want to be part of creating real solutions for some of the most troubling challenges affecting families and communities right here in Pike County.

This is not about politics.
This is about people.
This is about community.
This is about action.
