Food Distribution - August 21, 2026

Last week, we were glad to see the fog clear and the sun come out, so we could serve 200+ households in the Oakland Community with 3,300+ pounds of food, ensuring that over 750+ people were fed.

Food Distribution - July 24, 2026

Last week, we had our busiest day of the summer! We served 210+ households in the Oakland Community with 3,300+ pounds of food, ensuring that over 770+ people were fed.

We could have not gotten through such a high traffic day without the help of our volunteers, the students of Ala Costa Center, and the staff of the Melrose Library, especially Jade!

Last week, our volunteers, along with the help of the Melrose Library staff, served 140+ households in the Oakland Community with 4,600+ pounds of food, ensuring that over 470+ people were fed.

July 2026 Schedule for the Bay Area Street Pantry food distribution.

📌 ALL Distributions for July will be held at Melrose Branch Library.

- ❗️Heat Warning: As the temperature heats up, we may be starting 30 minutes early (9:30am) and ending 30 minutes sooner (11:30am) on days that are expected to be 78°+.

- 📣 Service numbers are handed out at 7:30am, 8:00am, 8:30am, and 9:00am.

📌 Distributions at Fremont High School are suspended for the summer.

- 📣Service numbers are handed out at 8:00am-9:00am.

Food Distribution - January 9, 2026

We were glad to be back serving the public and to see the volunteers after the holiday break. The sun was out and together we served 150+ households, resulting in 560+ people being fed with 4900+ pounds of food from ACCFB.

We are proud to partner with the Main Branch of the Oakland Public Library to provide food for the Oakland community this Friday, December 19!

There will be toys, clothes, and blankets, as well as haircuts provided by So Fresh City.
