Today we remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the heroes who ran toward danger to help others.

We remember the courage, the sacrifice, and the strength of a nation that came together during one of our darkest days.

Never forget. 🇺🇸🕊️

September 11, 2001 forever in our hearts. ❤️🤍💙

Thank you to Madcat Daylilies for your generous donation. Joe made a creation of a new daylily Limited Edition to honor our Concord Police Officers who have given their life in the line of duty and in the protection of the public which they serve. “End Of Watch” is their tribute to the fallen officers who didn’t make it home at the end of their shift. Thanks so much to our men and women in blue!💙🖤

While many Americans enjoy a day off or travel during the long weekend, emergency personnel remain on duty or on 24-hour call. Communities around the country routinely use Labor Day to recognize these essential workers. Thank you to all of our City of Concord, NC - Police Department officers for all that you do. 💙🖤

We just wanted to take a second to reintroduce ourselves.

👮‍♂️ Who We Are: Founded in 2021, the Concord Police Foundation is comprised of community leaders who care deeply about our mission - to support current and retired CPD officers - as well as their families. We want to ensure the people behind the badge, and those that support them, are as happy and healthy as possible.

🚔 What We Do:
* Support and Resources: We work hand-in-hand with the police department to understand and help fund what is needed most, like essential programs and training, physical and mental health services, academic tuition requests, the annual holiday dinner - and much more.
* Community Programs: We organize and sponsor events/initiatives that bring officers and community members together.
* Recognition: We honor the hard work and dedication of our police force through an annual awards gala.

🤝 Get Involved: Strength in numbers is real - and we believe in the power of community collaboration. Whether through volunteering, attending our events, or making a donation, there are many ways you can help support our mission. Follow this page for updates on how you can get involved and make a difference.

🌟 Question for Our Community:
What types of community programs or events would you like to see us organize in the future? Your feedback is invaluable, and we’d love to hear your ideas!

Thank you for joining us on this journey to create a safer, stronger community. We’re so glad you’re here.🖤💙
