To ALL Contra Costa County USBC Bowlers,

We are thrilled to share an exclusive, free benefit for our members!

Beginning July 31 through August 23, all active members of the Contra Costa County USBC receive exclusive invitation-only access to the Columbia Sportswear Company Employee Store. (https://stores.columbia.com/ca/richmond/employee-store-426)

This access and discount was negotiated without a fee for our members. Columbia’s Summer Sale is currently taking place and discounts are up to 60% off marked prices. Columbia’s four brands (Columbia, SOREL, Mountain Hardwear, and prAna) are available at the store and you can bring up to 4 guests with you per visit.

The stores are located in Richmond and Union City and you will need to show the attached invitation and your USBC membership card. If you do not have a physical card and need help accessing your digital card, please call or email the CCC USBC office.

We have our OFFICIAL results for the 2026 Women’s Championships! 🏆 Congratulations to our winners and a massive shoutout to every bowler who stepped onto the lanes and helped make this a successful event. Standings and prize payouts are attached to this post. Since we had a tie for 9th place, we doubled the prize amount instead of splitting it between the two winners. Thank you to Clayton Valley Bowl and their staff for hosting and helping to make this a success.

Our next tournament will be our Local Championships and we will be announcing a date, location, and time soon. We hope to see you there! 🎳

🎳 Roll into the 2nd Annual Contra Costa County USBC Women’s Championships! 🎳

Our Annual Women's Bowling Tournament is back for its second year. Join us for a day of fun and friendly competition.

Event Details:

Date: Sunday, July 19
Location: Clayton Valley Bowl
Check-in: 9:00 AM
Start Time: 10:00 AM
Format: 4 games
Entry Fee: $50
Prizes: 100% prize fund payout


This year we will be adding an optional handicap series fund for bowlers age 70 and over. There will also be a ball raffle and other prizes. Proceeds of side pots go to the CCC USBC scholarship fund. Use the flyer below to register.

Congratulations to the winners of our Seniors Tournament! Check out the full final standings posted below. Thanks to your incredible generosity and competitive spirit on May 31, we successfully raised over $800 for our scholarship fund! We appreciate our amazing community for making this event a huge success! 👏

CCC USBC members:

Our Senior Tournament will be Sunday May 31st at Clayton Valley Bowl. We hope to see , our members, 50 years and older, at this annual event. Proceeds go to our youth scholarship fund, AND immediately following, will be our annual meeting at 1:30 pm and we hope to see all of our membership there. We will post more information about the annual meeting soon. See the attached flyer for details about our senior tournament.
