The Alhambra 4-H Club had a wonderful time participating in National Night Out, connecting with families and spreading smiles by making fresh cotton candy for everyone to enjoy. It was a great evening filled with fun, conversation, and community spirit!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello and support the club. 4-H loves being part of events that bring neighbors together and showcase what 4-H is all about—leadership, service, and hands-on learning.

Hello 4-H families,

Come join us for a dinosaur🦖 of a time on Saturday, October 3rd, for the Youth Leadership Training Event. At the event, we will have multiple presenters, who lead workshops to teach youth about a leadership skill. Youth can rotate between presenters to learn different skills. Topics that may be covered include public speaking and conflict resolution, however, topics remain to be determined.

🌴We are looking for presenters who are willing to give a 30 minute to 40 minute interactive presentation about one or two leadership skills of their choice. Adults AND youth are welcome to present! We encourage youth to present with other youth members or an adult. If you or someone you know want to present, we would love it if you volunteered! 🌴

🦕We are also looking for youth volunteers (preferably 6 members) for the Planning Committee which will plan the details of this event. This is a great opportunity for a role on a county committee, which will count towards your Leadership Development Report and County Event Pin. If you would like to be on the Planning Committee, please click on the link below to open the SignUpGenius, then scroll down to the center of the page where it says (YOUTH) Join the Leadership Workshop subcommittee. That is where youth can register to join the committee. In addition to youth volunteers, we also need at least one more adult volunteer to be committee chair. If you are interested in being an adult volunteer, please go to the same link and scroll to where it says (ADULT) Chair Leadership Workshop subcommittee. Please join if you can; we need all the help we can get.🦕🌴

The event will be held on Saturday, October 3rd, 2026 from 9AM to 12PM at the county office in Concord. There will be drinks and snacks for sale. The event is dinosaurs themed, so please wear or bring anything dinosaur you have.

☄️Hope to see you there!!!!🦖☄️

Best Regards,
Bodhie
Youth CIRC Co-Chair

If you have questions or need ideas about what you can present, please email Jodi, Adult CIRC Co-Chair, at [email protected]
