Don’t forget to start liking the “2021 Concord NH Christmas Parade” page. We are starting early this year to get ready for November and we will be putting out memos and notices before we get into the program heavy in July or so. We appreciate the support last year and anticipate it again this year. Thank you all very much, it has been a difficult beginning of the year as one of the committee members and past director of the parade passed away recently and he was going to be the grand marshal as he was retiring being his 50th year involved in the parade. There will be a special ceremony. That’s also why I would like to see a lot of likes on this year‘s page so everybody is kept up to date. Thank you again very much.

I would like again to thank everybody who has donated to the Christmas parade and to the Grange in memory former committee member and director, and Grange Master Dick Patten. I would like to take a special moment and thank the Merrimack County Commission Delegation. Their donation in essence referenced to when Dick served as a State Representative, and they still referred to him as Colleague in their accompanying letter.

Examples like this is why the Concord Christmas parade is so special, it brings the city together. With the Grange having many members in the senior age category, the Fraternal Order of Eagles stepped up when asked to cosponsor the parade without hesitation, setting the example that community charities can work well together.

The Christmas parade donations are still coming in, and we just received one from a Granger who knew Dick from Iowa. I think it is very nice he wanted to be part in remembering Dick by donating to the parade. Thank you for your continued donations. Brian.

I would like to thank the people who have donated to the Christmas parade in memory of recently passed parade director Dick Patten. Dick Patten was going to retire from the parade this year and be Grand Marshal. The 2021 parade in November will hold a special ceremony at the review stand in memory of Dick.
