Let's follow Carol Ann's trail again. There's a couple addresses we do not have dates for so I'm going to place them between addresses we do have dates for when I think she may have been at those locations. I will include questions regarding some of the placements Carol Ann had been.
1979...1536 West Avenue, Apartment 227, SanAntonio Texas
January 1980...Peacock Village Home For Girls
519 Peacock, SanAntonio Texas
??? 1020 Scott Street, Laredo Texas
??? Brownwood Reception Center
Several letters came from Palmer Drug Abuse Program (PDAP) 1003 West 23rd St Austin Texas she was there until October 24, 1980
PDAP closed some of their programs/facilities around that time, did they transfer the youth to programs or facilities in neighboring states or did they just discharge them from the program?
Somehow from there she ended up in Shreveport Lousianna and her grandmother had given detectives two locations from the last call Carol Ann made to her Grandmother in Michigan on December 13, 1980. Nobody heard from her since.
6809 Fairfield, Shreveport Lousianna and
an address in the 1200 block of Howell which is now the 1200 block of Fairfield, the homes and buildings in this area have since been demolished, were there shelters or halfway houses located in that area? The only thing standing is Fertitta's Delicatessen. I'd really like to know what was on the foundations opposite corners of the deli and on the side street.
46 days after that last phone call on January 28, 1981 Carol Ann's remains were discovered on a logging road off highway 157 near Princeton.
When Carol Ann wasn't heard from again after that final phone call her grandmother called the last phone number Carol Ann called her from and was told Carol Ann had been babysitting for them and one night she went to a party and never returned. The phone number is said to have belonged to a family with the last name of Jordan.
We've been in contact with several former counselors at PDAP but they are very elusive or vague when answering questions.
Was she transfered to Louisiana via PDAP?
Did she go to Loisianna with friends she had made? How did she get there?
Who murdered Carol Ann Cole? Somebody knows, time to clear your conscience.
Carol Ann was a sweet, kind and pleasant person to be around, someone has to remember her even if they only met her briefly.
No bit of information is too little.
