The E M B R A C E Experience

Currently based in the Los Angeles area, The E.M.B.R.A.C.E. Experience (TEE) is an organization that nurtures several aspects of empowerment and leadership in teenage girls through diversity and cultural activities. Experience will help develop leadership skills using self-awareness, self-esteem, self-image, self-knowledge, self-responsibility, self-respect, self-appreciation, self-courage, percep

tion, vision, purpose, commitment, contribution and protection of self. These virtues will be taught, discussed and demonstrated by women who have committed to nurturing the girls through the various experiences the organization offers. Each experience will require the girl to EMBRACE herself through:
1. Examining and evaluating herself
2. Motivating and encouraging herself
3. Believing in herself.
4. Respecting herself and others.
5. Acknowledging, Accepting, Affirming and Appreciating herself and others.
6. Celebrating and having Confidence in herself
7. Embracing, Expressing and Empowering herself. The Experience is accomplished through diverse activities like visiting and attending cultural community events, restaurants, and fairs. The girls will also participate in a variety of recreational activities like hiking, ziplining, kayaking, atv riding, high ropes, scavenger hunts and whitewater rafting.
