is dedicated and committed to providing free vision screenings, eye examinations, and glasses to the uninsured, working poor, and underserved who otherwise would not have access to such services at no cost to them or their families. Our Services:
Gift of Sight- Through this program, staff members of Angels for Sight and volunteers provide vision screenings to school-age children and young adults
at schools between the ages of five and twenty-one in order to identify individuals who are experiencing deficiencies in school, related to vision impairment. Our Golden Heritage- This program provides senior citizens with glaucoma screening, eye exams, as well as assisting them with vision prescriptions that may otherwise be unaffordable for them. Beyond Shelter- This program is designed to assist our homeless population by going into the shelters to provide vision screening, eye exams, and glasses.
2nd Chance- This program is targeted to individuals who have been incarcerated for minor offenses but seek to reestablish their lives by looking for gainful employment. For the Love of My Country- In this program, eye examinations and glasses are provided to our homeless veterans and their families at no cost. All services are provided by licensed optometrists who graciously donate their time.
