The Soulaan Family Nation

The Soulaan Family Nation We are a people of primarily African descent, whose ancestors were enslaved in America. Black with a capital B babaaay. It's okay to love us here and now.

We are those Soul Brothers and Sisters of America, Afro Americans who are descended from the African descended Freedmen of the United States. We declare this to be a sacred space of self-determination, and unapologetic love and celebration! We are us, and this is OUR culture, our story, our village. Beautiful, Resilient, Soulaan People!~

In a heartfelt tribute, Alfonso Ribeiro is mourning the loss of his beloved mother, Joy Ribeiro, who passed away peacefully in 2026. Reports indicate she died in his arms, with him by her side in her final moments, offering comfort and love as she departed.

Joy Ribeiro will be remembered for her warm spirit, quiet strength, and the deep bond she shared with her son. Though her absence is deeply felt, her memory and legacy of love continue to live on through Alfonso and the family she raised.

We send our condolences to the Ribeiro family during this time of grief. πŸ’”
