ABOUT THE COMPANY
Compton Adult Day Health Care builds on over 20 years of experience to work together with families and agencies to create a wraparound of support in the delivery of C-BAS services. Compton Adult Day Care program serves the needs of adults with disabilities and/or impairments who are at risk of institutionalization. Our service area includes but is not limited to: East Rancho Dominguez, East Compton, Lynwood, Paramount, West Compton, and West Dominguez and Willowbrook.

JOB SUMMARY
The Social Worker Assistant is an individual who is employed to support the Program Director and Lead Social Worker performing daily operational duties. The Social Worker Assistant delivers daily person-centered assistive services to seniors and adults with developmental disabilities.

This is a full-time position with a competitive benefits package. This position operates Monday through Friday during our operational hours.

PRIMARY DUTIES
Provide direct caseload assistance to the Program Manager and Lead Social Worker.
Evaluate, develop and implement individual service plans.
Attend required team meetings and training in-services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct home visits.
Receive intake inquiries.
Develop opportunities for community outreach.
Identify opportunities for interpersonal growth, community integration, and client development.

REQUIREMENTS
Experience working with adults or students with disabilities.
Must be very patient.
Successful DOJ background clearance.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bi-lingual (English and Spanish).
Interpersonal communication skills.
Familiarity with computer data entry and word processing software.
