Boy Scout Troop 125 - Commack, NY

Boy Scout Troop 125 - Commack, NY Troop 125 is a boy run troop. This is what WE mean by a BOY RUN TROOP. The BSA does not govern and is not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites.

Boy Scout Troop 125 invites every boy to join our fellowship for friendship, fun and adventure, and to grow in the spirit of Scouting - preparedness, readiness to help others, honesty, and responsibility. We believe that our goals in scouting, to develop character, citizenship and leadership ability, can best be achieved by giving our members responsibility for organizing themselves to plan and im

plement the Troops’ programs. To the maximum extent consistent with safety and national Boy Scouts of America policy, we let the Scouts learn by having the opportunity to try, occasionally fail, and more often succeed – but to do so while the adults stand aside and let the Scout have the initiative, experience and pride of their own efforts. The troop meets year round (except during designated weeks in July and August) on Tuesday nights from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall of the Commack United Methodist Church located at 486 Town Line Road, Commack, 11725. This Saturday, I was incredibly honored to attend Boy Scout Troop 125 - Commack, NY's Eagle Scout Court Of Honor and witness the honors that were given to:

Ryan Thomas Condell
David Mastroianni
Luke Maciejewski
Joseph Michael Cramer and
Anthony Citera

What an incredible achievement for these young men who received the Eagle Scout honor this past weekend. The Eagle Scout Honor is the highest achievement attainable within the Boy Scouts of America. Since its inception in 1911, only four percent of Scouts have earned this rank after a lengthy review process.

We hope that the boys, their parents and all of their scout leaders are very proud of this impressive accomplishment.
