On Tuesday, July 28th, PPVFD was paged for mutual aid to the De Leon Volunteer Fire Department to assist with a wildland fire. Approximately 30 acres burned.

On Wednesday, July 29th, PPVFD was paged for mutual aid to the De Leon Fire Department for a rekindling of the same fire; approximately 5 acres burned.

A huge thank you to Comanche County, Texas Emergency Management for providing drinks and snacks.

Along with the other local volunteer fire departments that were paged out for aid.
