Colville Grocery Outlet owners Kim and Jason Craig raised a total of $13,905 between July 26- 31 for the charity Independence from Hunger (IFH). According to their website, IFH is an annual campaign whose purpose is to address hunger and provide meals for communities in need. “Grocery Outlets nationwide have been participating in IFH since 2017,” said Jason Craig.

“All of the Grocery Outlets are independently owned, and we all put a lot into raising these funds.We choose a food bank to donate to,” said Kim Craig. “For us, it is the Colville Food Bank.”

We can all see that air quality has been deteriorating. Here are a few tips to help you deal with the poor conditions.

Wear N95 masks or KN95 respirators for prolonged outdoor activities, especially if you have respiratory issues.

Recirculating the air in your car is better than pulling air from outside. If your air conditioning has the capability, set it to recirculate.

At home, use an air purifier. Don't have one? Build these! You need to use MERV 13 filters.
