In order to provide insight into the New VPP Page, we wanted to provide a brief description on how the new page functions and how it will differ from the Facebook Group.

Facebook VPP Page:
Like a friend’s profile, pages enable organizations like VPP HOA to create a public presence on Facebook and be the source of content for VPP on Facebook. Any person on Facebook can have equal access to the content that we provide on this page by simply selecting the “Like” tab on the page. After doing so, all content and updates to the page will automatically be disseminated on their News feed on the welcome page. That is why this page is limited to information only and will post standard information such as scheduled community meetings, events and important neighborhood updates.

Facebook VPP Group:
While the page was designed to be the source of content for VPP on Facebook, the group was designed as a place for group communication. This Group forum is the ideal place for people to share their common interests, network, compare repair companies, request service information, socialize, post free items, post lost pets, book or card clubs and so much more.

We are still working on the possibility of an Official VPP website as the main source of information but in the interim both Facebook sites serve a purpose and both can be utilized effectively.
