Building more than beautiful spaces—we’re building stronger communities. 🌱✂️

America Community Facelift, in collaboration with SWACO, is proud to celebrate the official Serenity Space Ribbon Cutting.

This project represents what can happen when a community comes together with purpose. From the young people who rolled up their sleeves to help bring this space to life, to every partner who believed in the vision, this is a reminder that real change starts with action.

Our mission goes beyond cleaning up neighborhoods. We’re creating safe, welcoming spaces, inspiring the next generation to take pride in where they live, and proving that small acts of service can create a lasting impact.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this vision a reality. Together, we’re restoring communities, empowering youth, and creating spaces where hope can grow. 💚

A huge shoutout to the incredible youth behind the Serenity Space design.
Through NDC Youth CoLab, they learned, collaborated, and created something meaningful for the community. Their voices matter, their ideas matter, and today they proved just how powerful youth-led work can be.

Tomorrow we celebrate Serenity Space, a new community garden built for healing, connection, and joy.
In partnership with the Neighborhood Design Center’s Youth CoLab program, local youth designed and helped bring this vision to life and they did an AMAZING job.

Come out and show love to our young creators.

🌱Today we’re diving into Vermicomposting & Recycling 101 at Serenity Space!

Community composting and recycling do more than reduce waste, they strengthen neighborhoods, protect our environment, and teach practical habits that make a lasting impact.

But the benefits don’t stop there. When we compost correctly, we create usable, nutrient‑rich soil that supports healthier gardens, stronger plants, and greener community spaces.

Even materials that seem unusable can be transformed into viable soil that restores the land and keeps resources circulating instead of being thrown away.
Every small choice we make, every banana peel, every paper scrap, every recycled bottle, helps build a cleaner, healthier community.

Let’s keep learning, growing, and composting together.
Series 3 starts at 1 PM. See you there!
