Although we had higher hopes, we still had some highlights at tonight’s awards banquet. Congrats to the team on finishing 6th in reasons and 7th overall out of 20 teams. Sydney Beiting led the team finishing 20th overall and 7th in reasons, followed closely by Charlie Weiss in 22nd (19th in reasons) and Taylor Klopfenstein in 27th (26th in reasons) and Maggie Rodenbucher 34th in reasons out of 71 contestants. The team finish 6th in Ayrshires and jerseys and 7th in Holsteins. Sydney was 6th individual in jerseys, Taylor 10th in Guernseys and Maggie 9th in Holsteins. This has been a strong team with good results at NAILE last fall and Harrisburg a few short weeks ago. I have enjoyed working with them even though their busy schedules posed a few challenges when it came to workouts. I wish them all continued success in all of their future endeavors and look forward to seeing them accomplish great things! Thank you to all who shared their herds with us for practice and offered support along the way. Watch for more pictures of our adventures over this past week.
