January is National Human Trafficking Prevention and Awareness Month!
As we step into this month of awareness, we are reminded of the truth found in Psalm 34:18: "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."
Human Trafficking is a darkness that affects millions, BUT we serve a God who brings light, healing and restoration to every broken place. This month, we stand in faith for freedom, declaring hope over the lives of those impacted by this injustice.
At The Normandy Project/Turning Point Home, we stand in faith for freedom, declaring hope over the lives of those impacted by this injustice and are committed to being part of the solution.
This month, we honor survivors and raise awareness about this hidden crisis. Together, we can educate ourselves, help support vulnerable communities and work toward a world free from exploitation.
We believe:
β¨ God's love can heal the deepest wounds
β¨ His light shines in the darkest places
β¨ Through Him, freedom is not just a dream-it's a promise
How you can make a difference:
π Educate yourself and others about the signs of trafficking.
π Support organizations dedicated to prevention, rescue, and recovery.
π Advocate for policies that protect victims and prosecute traffickers
Please pray for survivors and those still trapped, that they find freedom and healing!
Let's be the light in someone's darkness. When we join hands, we can make freedom a reality for all.
Together, let's turn awareness into action.
