AGFC will be hosting a WMA work day to prepare WMAs for the upcoming season - find and register for a work day near you and show your support for Arkansas’s public lands.
This WMA work day is not only ideal for hunters interested in enhancing access and maintaining wildlife habitat, but also high school students meeting community service volunteer requirements under the LEARNS Act, caring for a resource they love and enjoy.

A big congratulations to all of our participants today in the marksmanship challenge!

In the 7th-9th grade division we have Graysen Newton in 1st place followed up by Rhett Henderson in 2nd

In the 4th-6th grade division Tate Henderson took 1st place

In the 1st-3rd division Casten Newton took 1st place

Don’t forget to join us at Grandview on August 1 at 9 AM for the Marksmanship Challenge!

We will also have some practice days to get warmed up before the event: Monday through Friday, July 27-31 from 10-11am!

Participants ages K-12th will compete in a series of marksmanship challenges, including:
🎯 slingshots
🎣 casting
🏹NASP archery
🦌 3D archery
🎈air rifles.

Put your skills to the test and compete to win regional and statewide prizes, including a Genesis Bow for the Statewide winners. Registration is strongly encouraged for everyone competing in the competition.
