The Purple Up Project supports military families, veterans, and their communities through the power of sports and connection. Our programs create opportunities for growth, healing, and teamwork — helping participants build confidence, resilience, and a renewed sense of belonging both on and off the field. We believe that sports and community engagement can do more than entertain — they can inspire

purpose, strengthen relationships, and remind us all that we’re part of something bigger. Every event we host brings people together to learn, play, and connect in an environment built on encouragement and support. Our volunteers include service members, veterans, educators, parents, and local leaders — all donating their time and passion to give back to those who serve. Equipment, training, and participation are often provided free of charge through generous community donations and sponsorships. The Purple Up Project’s mission is simple:
To empower and connect military families, veterans, and their communities through sports. By fostering resilience, teamwork, and a sense of belonging, we create inclusive opportunities for children and families to thrive both on and off the field. Every moment spent together — on the ice, on the field, or in the stands — builds stronger bonds and a stronger community.
