DONATE 🥫 FOOD FOR THE LESS FORTUNATE

GMOCO is proud to support Sewa Diwali🪔 in this noble cause. Last year, we collected 300 lbs. of canned food for this initiative. The need is greater this year due to the government shutdown and its effect on the USDA. The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) program will not be issuing SNAP benefits beginning in November. Sewa Diwali Food Donation Drive is a timely way to help those in need.

Please bring non-perishable food 🥫 items to the Diwali Gala event.

As part of Hindu Heritage Month, the City of Powell will serve as a drop-off location for the Sewa Diwali Food Drive.

The Sewa Diwali Columbus Team is collecting non-perishable food items such as canned fruits and vegetables, cereal, rice, coffee, and peanut butter for local food pantries.

Bring your food donations to the box in the lobby of the Powell Municipal Building (47 Hall St.) between 8 a.m.-5 p.m. through Nov. 9.
