The 2023 Debbie Tidwell Everyday Advocate Award -

Awarded to one individual who most exemplifies the qualities that made one of PTA’s greatest child advocate leaders, past Ohio PTA President Deb Tidwell. Debbie was a true advocate for all children. She loved PTA and advocacy work. She was a hard working and compassionate leader who was dedicated to moving Ohio PTA and its leaders forward and committed to ensuring that others would follow.

She is remembered as a passionate and dedicated advocate for children through the PTA. Debbie enjoyed volunteering her time on countless committees, serving as a past President of the Ohio PTA and was the Treasurer for the Friends of the Fairview Park Schools Committee.

This award is to celebrate the legacy Debbie created within the Ohio PTA.

Requirements:

Has applied for the Ohio PTA Advocacy award in the past 5 years and this year

Completes the application and submits by March 1st.

A member of a unit in good standing with Ohio PTA
