Meet this Saturday's special guest: Mat Marrash!

Since picking up a camera in 2008, Mat Marrash has spent nearly two decades exploring the history, process, and way of life of photography. What began as a transformative trip to Japan grew into a deep passion for film and eventually large format photography, where Mat found the medium that would shape his creative work. Today, as a freelance photographer, educator, co host of The Film Photography Podcast, and creator of Large Format Friday, Mat shares his knowledge and love for analog photography with photographers around the world.

Did you know? The Ohio Camera Collectors Society began with a different name — The Society of Photographic Collectors of North America. It all started in 1968 when founder Walter A. Johnson announced the very first meeting in none other than The New York Times.

Just a six months later, history was made again with the announcement of the very first Camera Fair in the U.S. — a groundbreaking moment for collectors and photography enthusiasts alike.

From the beginning, members proudly showcased their treasured collections and shared their passion by offering rare and unique items for sale.
