We are deeply grateful to the Greater Columbus Arts Council and Art Makes Columbus for their support of Carpe Diem String Quartet’s 2026-27 season, “Love Letters to Friends.”

For our season finale concerts on May 23 & 24, we're thrilled to present the world premiere of Erberk Eryılmaz's Günü Yaşa ve Dansı Hisset (Carpe Diem and Feel the Dance), a 15 for 15 commission.

Turkish-American composer and performer Erberk Eryılmaz is recognized for bringing the energy of the traditional music of his homeland to the concert stage with a creative and dramatic approach. CDSQ's and Eryılmaz's album, "Dances of the Yogurt Maker," won a 2022 GRAMMY Award with producer Judith Sherman and received two gold medals at the Global Music Awards.
