Yesterday, Prairie Fire Local 2985 had a great time competing in Liberty Township’s annual softball tournament alongside teams from Liberty Township, City of Delaware Fire Department, Orange Township, the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office, and Jerome/Concord Fire.

It was a great day of friendly competition, laughs, and building relationships with our fellow first responders. Opportunities like this remind us that the teamwork we share extends far beyond emergency calls.

Congratulations to Liberty Township on bringing home the championship! Thanks to everyone who made it a fun day—we’re already looking forward to next year

Join us tonight from 7:00–8:00 p.m. at Station 241 (123 Inah Avenue) for an evening of stories, smiles, and family fun!

We’ll have:
📖 A firefighter reading a children’s book
🫧 The foam machine (weather permitting!)
🍿 Snacks for everyone
🚒 Fire trucks to explore
😊 A fun evening the whole family will enjoy

📚🚒 Reading with a Firefighter is back at Prairie Township Fire!

Join us for an evening of stories, smiles, and fun as our firefighters read with local children and families at Station 241. This free community event is a great opportunity to meet your firefighters, enjoy some great books, and learn about fire safety in a fun and engaging way.

And that’s not all! We’ll also have water fun with our ladder truck and may even bring out the foam machine for some extra summer excitement!
