Immigrants Integration Station, a pioneering 501(c)(3) organization, is dedicated to empowering families through education and community, and we rely on your generosity to equip our new space with essential resources. We're calling for donations of plush seating for ESL classes, sturdy tables, reliable printers, storage, premium stationery, whiteboards, a conference table and chairs, captivating books, notebooks, art supplies, and ESL materials. Your contribution, big or small, brings us closer to creating a haven that unlocks potential and inspires lasting change. Our sincerest appreciation goes to NICC Ohio for their support of our initiative, providing bike servicing for local kids and youths. The event's success underscored the importance of such programs, with Immigrants Integration Station's efforts aimed at empowering youths and fostering mental wellness. A total of 67+ bicycles were serviced, demonstrating the community's enthusiasm. The smiles on the faces of our young participants and adults alike testified to the value of this project, and we are grateful to our volunteers for their invaluable contributions.

We are pleased to announce that our recent board meeting was highly successful, yielding productive discussions on the strategic direction for IIS(Immigrants Integration Station) and garnering committed support from our board members, who bring diverse backgrounds and expertise. Special thanks are extended to Abdul Rahim Molla for his IT expertise, Professor Hashim Pashtoon (Ohio State University) for guiding our strategy, and Doug Hadix for his leadership. We were also pleased to welcome Khaled Abusayda and Zainab Kassab, who contributed valuable financial expertise, and Zohra, who focused on community initiatives. Glenn, Sue, and Cal Holloway played crucial leadership roles. Although we missed Linda Karr and a few others at this meeting, we anticipate their participation in our next gathering. Following the board elections, we will introduce our official roles. Together, we remain committed to advancing IIS's mission, and we appreciate your ongoing support.

Today was another beautiful reminder of what true community partnership looks like.
With the continued support of Food 4 All Cbus, and the generosity of Bethel International United Methodist Church (BIUMC) for providing space, Immigrants Integration Station (IIS) was able to distribute approximately 680 boxes of fresh melons and watermelon to families across our community.
In just a short time, hundreds of families—especially newcomers and low-income households—received fresh, nutritious food. For many, this support brings not only relief during difficult times, but also dignity, care, and a sense of belonging.
We are deeply grateful to our dedicated volunteers who came together to unload, organize, and distribute these boxes with compassion and respect. Your efforts continue to make a meaningful difference.
Moments like this remind us that when organizations, faith communitie6s, and volunteers unite, we can turn simple food into hope and support for hundreds of people.
Together, we are building a stronger, more connected, and more caring Columbus community.

🙏 A Heartfelt Thank You to Brother Shabar Abbas

Immigrants Integration Station (IIS) is deeply grateful to Brother Shabar Abbas, a respected leader from the Ahlul Bayt community, for his generous and timely donation of more than 50 pounds of essential dry food items—including chana dal, masoor dal, kidney beans, and dry chickpeas—sourced through Apna Bazaar on 161.
This contribution is more than food; it is an act of compassion, solidarity, and leadership. Donations like this help IIS continue serving newcomer and immigrant families with dignity, ensuring that no one in our community is left behind—especially during times of increased need.
