Pack 6’s Pinewood Derby was this afternoon and it was a great race day!! It was so fun seeing the great cars and the excitement the kids have for this event. Congrats to Beck, Aiden, and Nic for placing 1,2,3.

Everyone who is coming out tomorrow for the Wreath Laying, please read the post below about parking and shuttles. The Ceremony starts at 12pm and we will help lay wreaths after the ceremony. Plan to use one of the parking locations and shuttle in. Meet us at the Flagpole where the ceremony will occur. Wear your Uniform if you have one, if you do not wear your Pack shirt.

❗️❗️PARKING INFORMATION❗️❗️

We have 3 designated parking spots for the event on Saturday. Please use these spots to ensure everyone makes it to the ceremony on time. Busses will run from 10am until the last person is gone. We encourage you to arrive early to allow adequate time to park and shuttle over.

Mount Olive Primary School and The Russell County Senior Center will have a shuttle bus to transport to and from the cemetery. The Heritage Center / Fort Mitchell Visitors Center is next to the cemetery and within walking distance. This parking lot is small and will fill up quickly.

If you are traveling south on HWY 165, Mount Olive will be on the right, just past that will the Senior Center, also on the right. Both of these locations are before you get to the cemetery. The shuttle busses will run from 10am until the last person is gone from the event. The Heritage Center will be on your left immediately past the cemetery.

If you are traveling north on HWY 165, the Heritage Center will be on your right, just before the cemetery. If you continue past the cemetery, you will then see The Senior Center to your left and further past that on your left will be Mount Olive Primary School.

The distance from the cemetery to Mount Olive is 1.2 miles with the senior center being in the middle. If we can keep traffic as clear as possible at the cemetery, the shuttle busses will be extremely efficient. Please please utilize these parking locations if you're able. Handicapped parking at the cemetery is extremely limited, please leave these spots to those who truly need them.

Fall Family Camp 2024 was a success. Everyone had a great time and we got to introduce some new Cubs to camping. This event is always fun and the kids look forward to it each year.
