OUR COMMUNITY PROGRAMS
The mission of J. Jireh is to improve the quality of life in the East Main Street (Near Eastside of Columbus) community through housing and economic development, planning, coordinating of services, and other community-building activities. Jireh has been serving the East Main Street community since 2010. Jireh is becoming the area’s primary community development organization. It initiates activities designed to attract employment opportunities, increase the supply of good, affordable housing, and to foster a nice and safe place to live. Our “Brick and Mortar” Developmental Plans:
The establishment of the J. Jireh was a direct result of resident and church involvement in determining the future course of East Main Street community. From its beginning, J. Jireh has continuously worked to revitalize the East Main Street community and improve the quality of life for area residents and businesses. Jireh has done this through a comprehensive strategy incorporating initiatives in varies program areas. Our Vision:
