Garden & Gun Magazine just featured Columbus, spotlighting how our 2.5-mile urban whitewater course helped transform the Chattahoochee into a world-class destination for freestyle kayaking and outdoor adventure. From hosting the to welcoming the world for the ICF World Cup in 2028 and World Championships in 2029 (Planet Canoe), Columbus continues to build momentum as one of the country’s most unique outdoor destinations.

Something new to explore in MidTown Columbus Georgia 🚲

The MidTown Children’s Bicycle Playground at Dinglewood Park is officially open, and it’s one of the first of its kind in the Chattahoochee Valley. Designed as a fun, safe place for kids to learn and build confidence on two wheels, the space features a pump track, natural trails and a beginner-friendly loop.

It’s another great example of how Columbus continues to invest in spaces that bring people together and make everyday life a little more fun.
