Each year, Heritage Ohio, the state-wide Main Street coordinating agency under Main Street America, honors the people, places and projects that exemplify a commitment to growth through preservation and revitalization. This year, Vermilion’s “Erie & Anchor” has been selected as one of three finalists for the Main Street Business of the Year award.

The Main Street Business of the Year award is presented to the owner(s) and/or employee(s) of a Main Street program business with innovative business strategies, which has been heavily involved in the downtown revitalization planning and implementation, has been a leader in marketing, and serves as a anchor in the district. This year, the award ceremony will be Tuesday, October 15th, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the historic Midland Theatre in downtown Newark. The award ceremony kicks off the 2024 Heritage Ohio Annual Conference, and is free and open to anyone to attend.

This year, Tiffin's “Elope at the Eclipse" has been selected as one of three finalists for the Best Main Street Committee Project award.
The Best Main Street Committee Project award is presented to a Main Street program committee (Economic Vitality, Design, Organization, Promotion) that planned, implemented, and completed a transformative project in their district.
This year, the award ceremony will be Tuesday, October 15th, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the historic Midland Theatre in downtown Newark. The award ceremony kicks off the 2024 Heritage Ohio Annual Conference, and is free and open to anyone to attend.

Downtown Piqua's Apple Tree Gallery is hosting a unique shopping experience on Saturday, April 9th. There will be a huge variety of vintage and antique Christmas and Halloween collectibles from all over the region. Apple Tree Gallery is located at 405 N. Main Street in downtown Piqua. The store is filled with antiques and Christmas collectibles and the marketplace is on the second floor from 9:30 - 3 Saturday ONLY. Be sure to stop by!
