Artahoochee who features the artist Raijeim Douglas would like you to come join her at stickers and stamps most Tuesday’s from 4-6pm, where She holds a free space for those interested in crochet, knitting and sewing amongst other fiber arts. Bring your craft your working on or sewing machine and let’s create something special. It’s also a great opportunity for you to visit a very special place.

I Raijeim as the CEO of Artahoochee Inc. that has been in business since 2017 as a nonprofit and 2014 as a club, would like to share some of my policies, If you are new to this page and knew to knowing who I am, on this page and any affiliated with this page we do not tolerate those who are against the lgbtq community and a persons choice, there are plenty of groups out there that you can join and support that do art in this world that don’t believe in Diversity, Equality and inclusion but in this house we do. so that means if you make comments that are not about art and against these policies you can be removed. Everyone deserves a safe space.

I want to share my art experience with the community, because you can’t take it with you when you’re gone. This year I have been crocheting for 40 years, I started in high school because of my sewing teacher, I had already been sewing at that point since 7 years old, and got bored within the first week, I knew how to sew from a pattern and add zippers and buttons and cuffs and collars. So she let me finish my jacket in three days instead of it taking all semester like the other students and I did, she told me that if she taught me how to crochet that I would have to complete a project by the end of the semester and I did and it was a popcorn short sleeve sweater. That is just one of my many projects and stories about how I got into passion of creating Art. please come and ask me more. Hope to see you soon Raijeim Douglas
