Central Ohio Modern Quilt Guild We are a local branch of the international Modern Quilt Guild. We meet the 2nd Thursday of the month with special events throughout the year.

Join us for community, charity projects, sew-ins, workshops, field trips and more! Website: CentralOhioMQG.com The Central Ohio Modern Quilt Guild was founded in late 2015 in Columbus, Ohio. Our mission is to develop our skills in modern quilting and to encourage that work in each other. We seek to educate other quilters on modern quilting designs and techniques, and we strive to offer educational opportunities through classes and workshops. We use our modern quilting skills to give back to our Central Ohio community through various charity projects. As we embark on our sixth year as an official Modern Quilt Guild, we hope you will join us for a meeting! We love to meet new faces. Our meeting locations change from time to time to cater to our broad geographic spread among members, and many meetings lately have been online, but our meeting time is the second Thursday of every month at 6:30pm. We still have some spots available for our fall retreat! Grab a friend or come make some new ones and join us for 3 days of quilty fun at the beautiful Berlin Grande Hotel in the heart of Amish country.

Here are the details:
When: Sunday, November 8, 3pm- Wednesday, November 11

Where: The Berlin Grande Hotel https://www.berlingrandehotel.com/

Cost: $90 for non-members ($70 for members). You will need to make your own room reservations at the group rate of $135/night. Call the hotel directly at 330-403-3050 (ask for group sales). The group name is Central Ohio Quilters MQG. Rooms are roomy and furnished with 2 queen beds, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. A hot breakfast buffet is included and the guild will provide a pizza & salad dinner on Sunday evening.

Fun Stuff:
Each person will have an 8’ table. Additional countertop height tables will be set up for cutting, laying out quilts, etc. The hotel also provides 2 portable design walls for our use. There will be discount coupons for area quilt shops, a secret sister exchange, games, prizes, and even a massage therapist!
