We are so deeply saddened with the passing of skating's dear friend Kathy Fellers Slack. Skate for Hope was founded to honor those battling cancer and we were so privileged to honor Kathy at our 2015 event at the Slater Family Ice Arena. RIP Kathy. With Dan Hollander, Emily Hughes, Jeremy Abbott, Alissa Starr Czisny, Alexe Gilles, Madison Hubbell, Zachary T Donohue, Alexa Scimeca Knierim, Chris Knierim, Caitlin Yankowskas, Hamish Gaman. Thank you Leah Adams for capturing these moments. Thank you Jamie Ann Baringer for everything you did that evening to help us honor Kathy.

Thank you to everyone in the skating community that has reached out during this stressful week. Skate for Hope extends its most hopeful wishes for all of our 2015 & 2017 cast and team here in Florida as we face Irma. Our Naples office is secured with metal shutters and we are as prepared as we can be. Stay safe and we will post again after the storm.
