The Mississippi Youth Council (MYCouncil) is a group of 10 youth activists, ages 16-24, that are committed to organizing our peers in support of high-quality comprehensive s*x education.
Help us improve s*x education in Mississippi by joining MYCouncil's Youth Activist Support Team. Our Support Team helps us make sure that youth have a voice in the debate on what gets taught in our schools. Your help will be needed to make sure our state policy makers know what information youth need in order to help us safeguard our health.

Advocates for Youth has provided me and many other youths with the reosurces and a platform to fight for reproductive justice. I hope to to work to ensure all youths have the knowledge and resources they need to make well informed choices about their s*xuality.

ATTENTION EVERYONE! NOW is hosting our annual production of The Va**na Monologues this March 6th and 7th. If you are interested in reading a monologue or bit part or even just helping with refreshments and other duties as needed, then come to our interest meeting! The interest meeting is Tuesday January 20th from 1-3 PM in the W room! We hope to see you there!

Everyone come out to Zeta Phi Beta's and NOW's Colorism Panel on November 11th at 7 PM in Cochran Ballroom! Come out to hear your fellow students discuss the impact that colorism, or discrimination based on skin color, has had on their lives and join in a discussion with them and each other about colorism! We hope to see you there!

NOW will be celebrating Love Your Body Day this Monday and Tuesday! We will have our Love Your Body Day model outside of the cafeteria tomorrow and Tuesday from 11 am to 1 pm! Come out and sign the body to raise awareness about body positivity! Also, we need volunteers to watch the body. If you are interested, please message Brianna Warner or comment on this post!

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, the Zetas and NOW have mutually decided to cancel the colorism panel. Don't worry, we will do it either at a later date in the semester or next semester! It was decided that it was not feasible to do the panel this Thursday.
