Today we want to celebrate James and Taylor Pickens.

Before James graduated from Crossroads, he and his wife were living in their vehicle, facing a season that many people would have looked at and called hopeless. But God was still writing their story.

Now, 4 years later, James and Taylor are signing for their first home together.

This is more than a house. This is a testimony. This is a reminder that God restores, rebuilds, and redeems what broken seasons tried to steal.

“The Lord has done great things for us, and we are glad.”
Psalm 126:3

James and Taylor, we are proud of you. Your story reminds us why this ministry matters. Every life is worth fighting for, every family is worth praying for, and every testimony points back to the goodness of God.

We are currently building a contact list of local churches, pastors, church leaders, ministry teams, and individuals who may be willing to partner with Crossroads Sober Living.

We would love the opportunity to sit down, share the vision, and talk about ways churches can help us serve men who are working toward recovery, stability, and a new way of life.

Right now, we are focusing on several key areas:

Building our House Mom Program

Expanding to add another 16 beds

Creating sponsorship opportunities to help men enter the program when finances are a barrier

We are excited to introduce Josh Jeffries as our Mentor and Alumni Coordinator.

Josh will help provide leadership and oversight for our mentoring program by equipping mentors, monitoring relationships, and making sure participants receive steady guidance, encouragement, and support.

He will also help develop and strengthen our alumni network, keeping those who have completed the program connected, supported, and engaged in continued growth.

If you have graduated from the program and would like to be part of the Alumni Network, please reach out to us. We want to stay connected and continue walking with you.

Also, if you are interested in being trained to serve as a mentor, let us know. This is a meaningful way to invest in the lives of others and help them keep moving forward.

We are thankful for Josh and the heart he brings to this work. Please help us welcome him into this important role.

CROSSROADS FAMILY DAY 2026

We caught fish, we laughed, ate some crawfish, celebrated birthdays and had some great fellowship! Thanks to Tony Hannah for having us at Barksdale lake and cooking the crawfish for us!
