Today was such a special day at for our first ever “Fearfully and Wonderfully Made Over” event.

So many incredible people came together to love on women in a tangible way, and it was truly beautiful to watch. A huge thank you to Blades for opening their salon and hosting us with such kindness and generosity. Thank you to The Everlasting Loaf and Outdoor Nutrition for our refreshments! Thank you to Michaela with Polished by Michaela and Hildey from Allegro Medispa for volunteering your time and talents to pamper the ladies with nails. Thank you to Brittney Corbell and Emma Rose for blessing everyone with makeup services and encouragement along the way.

We also had amazing volunteers who simply showed up to love, encourage, help shop for clothes, and remind these women of their worth. Several generous donors sponsored new outfits and shoes so each woman could leave feeling confident, cared for, and celebrated.

Another huge blessing was the volunteers who lovingly cared for the children while the moms were at the salon and shopping. Because of you, these women were able to relax, breathe, and simply enjoy being cared for themselves for a little while. That gift meant more than words can express.

Today was about more than makeovers. It was about reminding women that they are valuable, worthy, seen, and deeply loved.

Today at The Prayer Corner, we hosted our Home to Hope event, and it was just…well, beautiful.
THANK YOU to all the organizations and people that came together to serve. Together, we were able to provide showers, meals, clothes, supplies, and prayer to our unhoused community. Watching our wonderful volunteers love on people with such joy blessed us immensely. God is faithful!

Thank you for every donation, all the hard work, and the many that came together as The Body of Christ to know Him and make Him known!

🎉We are so excited to launch Find your Voice🎉

Hey friends, The Prayer Corner will be hosting a Fearfully and Wonderfully Made Over event for some lucky moms to have a few hours to be pampered. We are in need of some volunteers for childcare on May 9th from 10-4 tentatively. If you would like to volunteer or are even a student who needs service hours, please reach out. We are so blessed and honored to be the hands and feet of Jesus!!!

🚲 Adult Bicycles (new or used. If used, only ones that are in good condition)

⭐️ Shoutout to Carolina Belle and her dad, again!⭐️

What an incredible blessing to our community! 🩷

This week, Carolina Belle and her dad generously donated 1,000 pounds of food along with 10 pre-made food boxes to The Prayer Corner. Those boxes have already been distributed to families with children through Child Protective Services.

Your generosity is already making a real difference in the lives of families in our community. We are so thankful for hearts willing to be the hands and feet of Jesus!! 🙌🏼

We have the honor of supporting an 18-year-old aging out of foster care who is moving into a supervised home and starting fresh. He is in need of basic household items to help make his new space feel like home.

Needed items include: pots and pans, dish towels, microwave, bedding and sheets for a queen size bed, pillows, bath towels, wash cloths, shower curtain and rings, bath mat, trash can, laundry basket, alarm clock, curtains, and simple décor.

Even if you can only donate one item, it would be a huge blessing. Every little bit helps him feel supported as he steps into adulthood. Please message us if you’d like to give. 🤍

We have a foster mom in our community who has opened her home to a little one and is in need of a stroller/car seat combo (travel system).

If anyone has one in good, safe condition (not expired and no accident history) that you would be willing to donate, please message us.

These mamas say “yes” on short notice and often don’t have time to prepare — so we would love to surround her with support. 🤍
