Today was such a special day at for our first ever “Fearfully and Wonderfully Made Over” event.
So many incredible people came together to love on women in a tangible way, and it was truly beautiful to watch. A huge thank you to Blades for opening their salon and hosting us with such kindness and generosity. Thank you to The Everlasting Loaf and Outdoor Nutrition for our refreshments! Thank you to Michaela with Polished by Michaela and Hildey from Allegro Medispa for volunteering your time and talents to pamper the ladies with nails. Thank you to Brittney Corbell and Emma Rose for blessing everyone with makeup services and encouragement along the way.
We also had amazing volunteers who simply showed up to love, encourage, help shop for clothes, and remind these women of their worth. Several generous donors sponsored new outfits and shoes so each woman could leave feeling confident, cared for, and celebrated.
Another huge blessing was the volunteers who lovingly cared for the children while the moms were at the salon and shopping. Because of you, these women were able to relax, breathe, and simply enjoy being cared for themselves for a little while. That gift meant more than words can express.
Today was about more than makeovers. It was about reminding women that they are valuable, worthy, seen, and deeply loved.
