Happy New Year from OANO! 🎉

As we step into 2026, we’re grateful for the momentum we built together in 2025. From launching FIND — the Forum for Innovative Nonprofit Development, to growing our Council of Consultants to more than 30 experts delivering monthly webinars, to hosting strong, well-attended First Friday Legislative Calls that keep the nonprofit sector informed and engaged — this past year marked a renewed chapter for OANO.

Thank you for your continued support and partnership. We look forward to building on this progress and advancing the needs and voices of Ohio’s nonprofit sector in the year ahead.

Over the past few months, OANO’s First Friday Legislative Calls have grown into one of our most valuable touchpoints for nonprofit leaders across Ohio. We’ve been honored to welcome distinguished guests from the Ohio General Assembly — including state representatives discussing active legislation impacting our sector — as well as upcoming federal perspectives from Mr. Reggie Harris, Chief of Staff to Congressman Greg Landsman (OH-01).

These sessions have provided timely, practical updates on issues ranging from raffle regulation reforms to policy shifts affecting nonprofit operations, funding, workforce stability, and public service programs. We’re grateful for the expertise our legislative partners have shared and for the strong engagement of nonprofit leaders who join us each month.

If you haven’t attended yet, we encourage you to register for our monthly First Friday Legislative Calls. They’re a great way to stay informed, elevate your advocacy, and ensure Ohio’s nonprofit sector has a strong, unified voice at both the state and federal levels. We hope you’ll join us for the conversations ahead.
