JOT TAX CAREER PATHWAYS PROGRAM

Are you looking for an opportunity to learn a valuable professional skill, increase your earning potential, and explore a pathway toward self-employment?
Beginning in late September, JOT INSPIRES CORPORATION will offer an 8-week, in-person Income Tax Preparation Workforce Training Program designed to introduce eligible participants to the fundamentals of basic individual income tax preparation.
This workforce-development initiative is designed to provide individuals facing financial and/or educational barriers with access to practical occupational skills that can support greater economic independence and future employment or self-employment opportunities.
PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS WILL RECEIVE:
• 8 weeks of instructor-led income tax preparation training
• In-person instruction once per week
• Training in the fundamentals of basic individual income tax preparation
• Practical tax preparation and professional development skills
• Introduction to professional tax preparation software
• Access to a dedicated trainer for guidance and questions
• Preparation for potential self-employment opportunities during tax season
SEASONAL CONTRACT PATHWAY
Individuals who successfully complete the training program may also have the opportunity to be considered for a seasonal contract position with JOT INSPIRES CORPORATION as an Income Tax Professional.
Selected tax professionals may receive access to approved tax preparation software, continued guidance, and support throughout the tax season.
Completion of the training program does not guarantee a contract position, employment, clients, or a specific level of earnings.
WHO MAY QUALIFY?
This program is specifically designed to serve individuals who meet established eligibility criteria related to limited income, underemployment, and/or limited access to higher education and professional training opportunities.
Space will be limited, and applicants must complete the program eligibility and acceptance process.

Individual class start dates, location information, eligibility requirements, and additional program details will be provided to applicants who are accepted into the program.
