Investing in community-driven ideas that make Columbus stronger.πŸ’š

Through the inaugural Spring 2026 PILLAR Grant Program, the Columbus Recreation and Parks Foundation awarded more than $13,000 to FIVE community center projects across the city. From arts education and youth theatre to community gardens and life-skills programming, these projects reflect the creativity, dedication, and impact of our community centers.

By supporting innovative programs and expanding access to opportunities, we're helping ensure that more residents can experience the power of recreation, wellness, and creativity in their own neighborhoods.

Congratulations to our 2026 PILLAR Grant recipients! πŸŽ‰

We’re celebrating a milestone year as we celebrate 30 years of the Champions for PLAY Golf Outing.

For 30 years, Champions for PLAY has helped remove financial barriers so youth across our community can access Columbus Recreation and Parks Department programming, including arts, youth sports, summer camps, swim lessons, and more. Proceeds from the outing benefit the PLAY Scholarship Fund, directly supporting kids and families who need it most.

Whether you’re joining us on the course, at Topgolf, or through sponsorship, your participation helps ensure every child has the chance to PLAY.
