Beloved In moments of crisis and change, we help social workers meet immediate needs and deliver the message that every child is unconditionally Beloved.

All too often, children who are removed from unsafe circumstances and placed in foster care must load their belongings in garbage bags, reinforcing the sense of worthlessness that abuse and neglect can create. This tragic loss of dignity and hope in the hearts of our children offers our community a chance to respond with intrepid compassion. We want to provide a duffel bag to every child brought i

nto foster care in Bartholomew County. Each of these Beloved Bags is stocked with items that meet immediate physical and emotional needs. We need your help to collect items and assemble bags that let these precious children know that they are beloved and not forgotten. Will you join us?

A special shout‑out to our incredible airbrush tattoo artist, ice cream truck, DJ, and photographer for bringing extra fun and unforgettable moments to the day. Thank you to the local businesses who donated gift baskets to our Foster and Kinship families.

You are appreciated, you are loved, and we are so thankful for all that you do. We can’t wait to see you again next year!

Foster/Kinship Day in the Park: Gift Baskets Still Needed

We are seeking donations of approximately 20 gift baskets for our annual event tomorrow. Selecting a gift basket is one of the most appreciated parts of the day for our families and serves as a meaningful reminder of the support and encouragement they receive from the community.

Baskets can include items from your business, a gift card, or a themed basket, such as movie night, game night, travel items, outdoor play, or ANYTHING creative!

Below are some sample themed baskets or you choose your own theme basket to donate. Baskets need to be received no later than 9:30 AM at the Donner Park Shelter House.
