Farrfield Manor is a non-profit three-story Independent Living Apartment Community specifically designed for older adults who are at least 62 years of age. There are 74 one-bedroom apartment homes, four of these homes are handicap accessible designed to benefit the mobility impaired and one unit is provided for those who are hearing and/or visually impaired. T
he community is ideally located in close proximity to restaurants, retail business, churches, medical and dental offices, and public transportation. Farrfield Manor features a community room with a party kitchen to be used by the residents for a variety of social, educational, and recreational activities. The entry lobby and lounge provides a friendly environment for the residents to socialize. There is a computer room equipped with a computer for the residents to use and a crafts room accommodates wet and dry crafts. A game area provides opportunities for resident socialization, and an exercise area affords residents the ability to exercise within the security and convenience of their own community. There is also a laundry room equipped with coin-operated washers and dryers and a counter enabling the residents to do their laundry on site. The management offices are located on site for ease in communication for the residents. There is a supportive maintenance staff that is dedicated to the continued maintenance and operation of the community. The community offers a Control Access System with a “key fob” entry system for the residents and a front entry intercom system for the residents’ guests and family. Farrfield Manor also offers a camera system throughout the communities' common areas and entrance that can be recorded and readily viewed by the manager and Law-enforcement Officials as needed. Each resident’s unit is accessed through interior corridors. Our homes design provides you with a spacious one bedroom, bath with walk in shower, an oversized living room, a kitchen hosting numerous wood cabinets and a pass-through counter area for dining or entertaining your guests from your living room, full-size refrigerator, full-size range with vent-hood, ceiling fans throughout, 3 closets in your bedroom and an emergency medical system. The mobility impaired, accessible units have roll-in showers for ease of access for those residents in wheelchairs. They also have appropriate appliances, counter and sinks, and turning radius to meet the special needs of the mobility impaired. One Bedroom Apartments include:
