It has been a while since we have posted. This non-profit is in the development stages with lots of meetings taking place with the private and public sector. If you would like to volunteer your skills to help us help others, please contact us directly. This is a giant project that requires a village of people to help prison reform! Help us show compassion for those who have found themselves in the system. There is purpose for their lives.

My name is Kyle Overmyer. I am a recovering addict. I have now been sober for over 6 years. Prior to my journey in recovery, I was the elected sheriff of Sandusky County in Fremont, Ohio at the age of 34, in 2008. While being the sheriff, I was diagnosed with arthritis and prescribed Vicodins for the pain. I eventually became addicted and began to go to multiple doctors seeking additional opiates. I also took old medications at the sheriff's office from the take back boxes to feed my addiction. Unfortunately, my addiction caught up with me criminally being indicted by a grand jury for 42 related felony drug charges. I eventually plead guilty to 12 counts and sentenced to 4 years in prison, which I spent in Allen Correctional. I was released on April 6, 2020. I am now employed in the treatment center industry as community outreach and also share my story as a motivational speaker. I am now married to my wife, Jennifer and have 2 children (Mikayla and Dillon)and 2 step children (Robbie and Mason)also.
