For those who may have wondered where we’ve been, we’ve been working.
This past year, instead of contributing to talk, we focused on building institutions. Structures designed to keep our community safe, clean, organized, and supported. Real work. Real infrastructure.
This year, we’re stepping forward with intention.
• We plan to launch Ujima Academy of Excellence, our school rooted in collective responsibility and high standards.(K-3)
• We’re preparing to launch an after-school and summer program through our nonprofit, The Future As We See It, creating safe, enriching spaces for our children.
• We will be opening ABA services to better support our children with autism and their families.
• We will have fresh produce grown locally
• We offer fitness training, yoga, and diet plans
• We also offer Doula services, real estate agents, automotive services, handy man services, and videographers
With the current political climate surrounding the school board and city council in Muscogee County, we are also preparing to run candidates in the next coming years to ensure our people have access to resources, opportunity, and representation where decisions are made.
Culturally, we’re bringing more programs, more events, and more exposure for our youth, helping curb violence by giving our children alternatives, vision, and the chance to experience different cities and states.
As we continue to build and grow, we want to thank everyone who has supported us, believed in the work, and stayed willing to grow with us.
This is Year 11!
